Saturdays in the D is a free University of Michigan and City of Detroit partnership that brings high-quality learning to Detroit residents, from elementary students to working adults and educators.

Saturdays in the D welcomes Dr. Amy Thompson and University of Michigan PharmD students for an informative workshop on protecting your health and understanding high blood pressure and high blood sugar.
This event will take place on Saturday, November 7, from 10am - 12pm and will start with a presentation with an open question-and-answer session. Afterward, attendees may participate in an optional hour of free health screenings provided by PharmD students, including blood pressure, blood sugar, and A1C testing.
